The apocalypse is here.... and it’s on time.

Hello to all again. We apologize for not writing for a while. We hadn’t decided if we should use this opportunity as a diary or to inform you of only important events as they happen. Due to what has become a steady amount of busy, well, we’re still undecided.

However, we have a few tasty morsels to feed you.

First of all, just to let you all know the forums are almost fixed. With all the insanity running through us they somehow just died. Deader than dead. Deader then when we kill things. Thanks to all who reminded us. It’s okay now though. The boys at Ape are dealing with the problem, and all will be back to semi normal. After that PSA, the big news....

Today Jocelyn and I braved gusty winds, heavy downpours and hail the size of dimes to bring you some very exciting news. Sullengrey #1 is available to pre-order!!! So head over to your local funny shop, ask the storekeep to order you and all your friends a copy. Just in case your dealer wants some proof that we exist, just tell him that we are on PAGE 228 of the PREVIEWS catalog. If there’s still blank stares, it’s amazing how far threatening to raffle off body parts to rabid dingos can get you.

So again, thank you for your patience and posts, keep them coming.

It’s so lonely when your evil.

Greeting cats and kittens –

Now that we’ve all received our certifications from the clinic, allow me to welcome you to our horrifying, yet somehow satisfying freak show.

This October, we, through the kindness of Ape Entertainment, will be releasing Sullengrey #1. Stuffed in between those glossy covers will be a no holds barred, emotionally packed existential horror story, the likes of which you’ve never seen. Some of the ideas and images may make you believe we should be committed (and maybe we should be….), but rest assured, we’re both properly medicated with large doses of vodka and Pop-Rocks.

I’m sure by now you’re all wondering what Sullengrey really is. On the surface, it appears to be your standard gothic zombie tragedy – boy meets girl, boy and girl fight hordes of undead, everyone dies (Yay!). At the rotten core, though, Sullengrey is really an exploration of fear. Fear is what drives every horror film, every scary story, every decision made. Sometimes, fear is innocent; sometimes it leads to the grotesque.

Sometimes, though, fear is given the power to rip flesh from bone, and leave you nothing but a jiggling puddle of goo. Goo. Yum.

In every story, we’re going to blur the lines between reality and the shadows on the wall.

Got questions? Ask them. This is your forum to pick our brains, and our forum to share new art and ideas leading up to the comic’s release. We promise to do our best to keep you quivering on the edge of your seat, fighting the urge to go cower in the corner, or hide your head beneath your pillow.

Dig out your nightlights all – we’re going to make the dark scary again.

It's true that scaring somebody with a comic book isn't easy, but, Drew Rausch and Jocelyn Gajeway are the kind of sick weirdo it takes to do just that.

SULLENGREY, a four issue comic book mini-series coming this Fall. An enthralling, unique artistic vision, original in conception and execution…

.. and straight-up creepy as hell.
